K so I know pretty much all of you already know about Misty's new baby girl Melia, But I wanted to blog something about my newest niece!!! She is so cute!! And so tiny!!! She has dark brown curly hair and long toes and fingers!! They're so cute! I love holding her! Well I am so happy to have another little niece! Now when she gets older I can do her hair! It's gonna be awesome! Well Congratulations to Misty and Adam!!
This years theme for girls camp in Denise's ward was Mulan! It was so much fun! We got to dress up with cool mulan wigs, that the girls made, and make up a play about Mulan's life 20 years from now! It was so funny to hear people trying to talk like Chinese people!!! :)We also had some funny consequences for breaking the rules! like tying people to trees for leaving our camp with out telling anyone, and singing and dancing on the tables for interupting when some one is talking! It was great! And we had a lot of fun activities. We also had a lot of good speakers up there. This year was my first year as a YCL, so I got to do all the cool stuff YCL'S do!! Well I had a lot of fun and I am glad I got to see all my friends that I haven't seen in forever, Including Denise! It was AWESOME getting to know all the new little beehives too!! They are all AMAZING!! Well I am glad I got to go and get my testimony strengthened a little! I can't wait till next year!
So last Friday I got to practice with Matt's coed softball team! It was a lot of fun! It is practically just our family so it was loads of fun! I caught to balls in the outfeild!!! :) One of Fronks, and one of Matts! It was awesome! I think I shocked everyone when I did, I know I shocked myself! :) Cause I haven't played in like forever! So ya! I also got to hit and I hit some pretty good ones!! :) I was happy about them! :) Well I hope I can practice with them again next time! The little kids were having fun too! And I couldn't believe that Misty and Mandy played and they were prego!!! I guess they're just amazing! :)
This year for youth conference we did service projects around town! It was a lot of fun! At first I thought it was gonna be boring, but it actually turned out to be a lot of fun! My group was called "Alma the Roofer"! From the name you can probably guess what we had to do, ROOFING!! It was fun! I couldn't go on the roof at first cause all the boys were up there and they didn't want too many people on the roof, so all the girls had to wait forever. But to take up the time we cut down this huge tree that was hanging over her house! It was fun, me and Julie are PRO'S when it comes to hand saws!! (not really we were pretty sad)! But anyways when we finally got to go on the roof, we had people ripping holes in their pants! It was hilarious! Some people had huge holes! I didn't rip mine though, so that's why it is so funny! We also experienced little baby birds dying! It was sad. And Julie and I started a CHERRY fight! :) good times, good times!!! Well, It wasn't just service, we also got to do some fun activities! Like make geo caches and water activities! The first night we did a slip n' slide, that was fun, but we had a lot of people get hurt! I had bruises all over my body, and Aubrey sprained her wrist! The second day we went to Payson City Pool! It was great! Then the last day we went to this barn up Spanish Fork canyon and played games all day! We wrestled pigs in the mud and I caught one!!! :) We also played tug a war, human battle ship, and water games! Well I had so much fun and it was AWESOME seeing the people's faces, we were helping, when we got done! And I am glad I got to feel the feeling of helping people!!!!!!! :) I also made a lot of new friends!
